This Original aircraft windows comes from British Airways Boeing 747-400 (G-CIVD), which was in use until 2020. The segment was professionally Upcycling process to a wall-mounted aircraft furniture Redesigned. The combination of its aircraft origins and aviation-related design makes it an object for lovers of technical design.

The Boeing 747 G-CIVD completed its maiden flight on November 23, 1994, and was used in international air traffic for many years. After its last flight from London Heathrow to Castellón (Spain), it was dismantled. This piece of aircraft furniture was created from one of its window segments – complete with visible signs of wear and a certificate of authenticity to trace its provenance.

Wir – Nancy und Benjamin – arbeiten beide seit vielen Jahren in der Luftfahrt: Benjamin als Pilot auf der Boeing 777, Nancy als Flugbegleiterin auf internationalen Routen. Diese Nähe zum Fliegen verbindet uns auch mit den Flugzeugen, die Luftfahrtgeschichte geprägt haben.

Die Boeing 747, oft als „Queen of the Skies“ bezeichnet, hat über Jahrzehnte hinweg Menschen und Kontinente verbunden. Umso mehr freut es uns, dass wir ein Stück dieser Geschichte erhalten und in neuer Form weitergeben können: Dieses Fenster stammt aus der British Airways Boeing 747-400 G-CIVD, die 1994 ihren Erstflug absolvierte und bis 2020 im Einsatz war.

Im Rahmen eines professionellen Upcycling-Prozesses wurde das Segment aufbereitet und für die Wandmontage vorbereitet. Die sichtbaren Gebrauchsspuren spiegeln den vorherigen Einsatz wider und machen jedes Stück zu einem Teil gelebter Luftfahrtgeschichte. Begleitet wird das Fenster von einem Echtheitszertifikat, das seine Herkunft dokumentiert.
