A new design from Aircraftwindows
With this new product, Aircraftwindows reinterprets the classic airline storage box in a fresh way. A functional airline component is transformed into an aviation-style side table that visibly references flying while simultaneously serving as a standalone piece of furniture. The storage box remains clearly recognizable as its origin – complemented by a new design concept for the home.
A piece of aviation with a new function
The onboard storage unit originates from the airline industry and was initially used for in-flight service. In its new iteration by Aircraftwindows, it has been further developed and given a new role in the living space. The characteristic shape, material, and industrial feel are retained and form the basis of the new design. Combined with a tabletop and sturdy legs, it becomes a piece of furniture that consciously showcases its aviation heritage while also functioning as a side table.
Various on-board box equipment options
Aircraftwindows' new on-board storage unit design is available in various configurations. Depending on the chosen option, the unit can be fitted with different inserts – for example, made of aluminum or plastic. This allows for variations in both appearance and everyday use. Different tabletop options are also available, enabling the on-board storage unit to be visually adapted to various room concepts without losing its aviation origins.
Legs made of oak wood – light or dark
A defining element of the new design is the oak legs. They form a deliberate contrast to the technical cabin interior, blending aviation with a more homely aesthetic. The table is available in light or dark oak finishes, each lending it a distinct character. This combination creates a piece of furniture that seamlessly integrates the industrial feel of aviation with natural materials.
